Reese “Pete” J. Mayeaux Jr., 78, a resident of Bayou Gauche, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
Visitation will be held at Life Fellowship Church, in Bayou Gauche, on Thursday, May 18th from 9 am until service time. A funeral service will be held at 11 am with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery.
Reese is survived by his sister, Karen Klotthor (Mickey); 7 nieces and nephews, Terra Mayeaux, Wade Mayeaux, Todd Mayeaux, Jennifer Haven, Lance Mayeaux, Candace Hutchinson and Heidi Hoffman; sister-in-law, Brenda Mayeaux; as well as numerous great nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reese J. Mayeaux Sr. and Dorothy Wilkie Mayeaux and brothers, Thomas and David Mayeaux.
