Rebecca Cheramie Beene, 57, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time today at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
She is survived by her son, Lonnie Beene and wife, Shelly; two daughters, Lawanda Ordoyne and husband, Reginald, and Devona Crosby; brother, Phillip Cheramie; three sisters, Dianne Pitre, Phyllis Felarise and Kate Rousse; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Beene; her parents, Walter Cheramie and Theresa Rousse; her stepfather, Valforus Rousse; son-in-law, Robert Crosby; and brother, Jeffrey Cheramie.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
