Reba Byerly, 70, a native and resident of Mamou, LA, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Des Allemands Mennonite Church. Religious services will be at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the Mennonite Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Douglas “Gene” Byerly; daughters, Lisa Soileau and Katina Cortez and husband, Terrence; companion, Nason Soileau; brothers, Raymond Veillon, Dallas “Joey” Veillon Jr., Ellis “Mano” Cook; sister, Valerie Bushey; grandchildren, Mendy, Gage, Storm, Taylor, Mariah and Trent; great grandchildren, Henry, Jayden, Rhett, Colton, Jordan, Columbiana, Charlee, Cayne, Amelia and Atlee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Byerly; daughter, Trisia Byerly; son-in-law, Rod Fontenot; parents, Dallas Veillon Sr. and Maxie Gotreaux; and sister, Shirley Veillon.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
