Raywood "Ray" Frederick, 65, a native of Abbeville and resident of Lockport, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol Bychurch Frederick; his loving daughter, Sherry Frederick; brothers, Tilman Jr., Hilton, Tilton and Richard Hebert and Walter Frederick Jr.; sisters, Darlene Este, Patricia Sanchez, and Gracie and Glenda Frederick; and two grandchildren, Brandy and Sarah.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Audrey and Tilman Hebert Sr.; father, Walter Frederick; and brother, Richard Frederick.
The family would like special thanks to go to the nurses Chris, Angel and Bill from St. Joseph Hospice for their compassionate care.
Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
