Raymond Edward Peterson, 81, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Gray, died on July 15, 2012.
A visitation will be held from 9 am. until service time on Thurs. at Falgout Funeral Home, 211 Westside Blvd. Houma. A chapel service will be held at 12 pm. with burial to follow at New Hope cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Spiess Peterson, daughters, Kathleen Peterson Cannizzaro and Karen Peterson Roussel, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, brother, Anthony Peterson, and sisters, Mary Cairo and Alberta Sharpe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Peterson Sr. and Katie Purchner Peterson, brothers, Peter Peterson Jr., Urbin Peterson, and Huey Peterson.
