Ray J. Use', 80, died Friday, March 3, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by three brothers, Clarke and wife, Elaine, of Raceland, Wade and wife, Leah, of Houma and Charles and wife, Claire, of Dallas; sister, Ruby Use' Thomson and husband, Bill of Mandeville; 12 nieces and nephews including two special nephews, Dwayne and Dan and a special niece, Donna whom he loved as his own; and his beloved companion of 17 years, Elsie Becnel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Use' and Franzine Bourgeois Use'; two sisters, Juanita Use' Champagne Claudet and Lola Use' Van Scoter; and infant brother, Luc Hubert Use'.
He was an Air Force veteran and was employed for many years as a computer programmer with Dow Chemical Co.
