Ray "Ray Ray" Naquin

January 18, 1957 — February 6, 2023

Ray “Ray Ray” Anthony Naquin, 66, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, LA passed away on February 6th, 2023 from being stubborn, refusing to go to the doctor, and raising hell for over six decades.

Mr. Ray is survived by his father: Martin “Jesty” Naquin; brothers: Coco (Marla), Brent, Chad (Veronica), Brad, and Troy (Leslie) Naquin; sisters: Diane (Bruce) Kiger, Margie (Johnny) Hebert, Christine Lee, Mary Helmer, Vickie Flannery, and Jennifer Naquin; and more nieces and nephews to count.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Andrew, Carol, Jack, and Pearl; and most noticeably his mother Elmina Guidry Naquin who was waiting with open arms.

Ray was a free spirit, that lived his life on his own terms. Despite his crusty exterior, and efficient use of foul language; Ray was a loving and caring man. He left a life-long impression on everyone he met, he will be so missed by his family and friends.

Instead of flowers, donations, or tears; his family asks that you take a moment to enjoy a drink or a smoke. Ray would’ve liked that.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

“If life must not be taken too seriously, then so neither must death.”
-Samuel Butler-
