Mary Raney, 90, a native of Cut Off and resident of Larose, died Thursday, July 28, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Bourgeois and husband, Paul; four brothers, Raymond, Norman, Gillis, and Simon Plaisance; three sisters, Clothilde Callais, Rose Lee, and Ethel Smith; and one grandson, John Bourgeois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Raney Jr.; her parents, Etienne and Pauline Theresa Aguillard Plaisance; three brothers, Eddie, Etienne, and Gabriel Plaisance; and two sisters, Mathilda and Albina Plaisance.
She was a eucharistic minister at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
