Philip Paul Detiveaux, 62, a resident of Houma, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
Visitation will be held at Falgout funeral Home, in Raceland, on Saturday, January 18th from 5 pm until 8 pm and will continue on Sunday, January 19th from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 with private burial at a later date.
Philip is survived by wife of 39 years, Adrella Babin Detiveaux; children, Keith (Tracy), Steve (Patti), Jody (Michelle), Sharon (Cory); siblings, Clark, Doyle, Cindy, George, Timmy and Lisa; brother-in-law, Roland Griffin; grandchildren, Noah, Aaron, Nicole, Michael, Caleb, Joseph; 6 great-grandchildren and as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Gersie Detiveaux; brother, Sheryl “Joe” and sister-in-law, Diana Griffin.
Philip was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed duck hunting and camping.
While the family accepts flowers; they would also appreciate donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
