Philip F. Danos, 75, a native of Raceland and resident of Larose, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma N Danos; son, Dan Danos and wife, Debbie; two daughters, Patty Guidry and husband, Bradley, and Belinda Guidry and husband, Clyde; four grandchildren, Daphne Cheramie and husband, Rowdy, Brooke LeBlanc and husband, Davy, Hailey Angelette and husband, Robby, and Kaitlyn Danos; five great-grandchildren, Jaci Cheramie, Brody Cheramie, Hayden LeBlanc, Rylan Angelette and Roen Angelette; and two sisters, Earline Zeringue and Eloise Bourgeois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Lillian Foret Danos; five brothers, Milton, Johnny, Cullen, Harvey, and Donatien Danos; and sister, Irene Zeringue.
He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
