Peter Fournier, 84, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Wayne Fournier and wife, Suzanne, and Keith Fournier and wife, Ann; daughter, Barbara Boudreaux and husband, Ferrel; and nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Punch Fournier; and parents, Etienne and Cecile Fournier.
He was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
