Peter Dominique

Visitation will be held from 6 PM until 9 PM on Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and from 9 Peter J. Dominique, 84, a native and resident of Gheens, passed away on AM until service time on Wednesday at St. Hilary Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at St. Hilary with burial to follow at St. Mary cemetery.
He is survived by his 5 sons, Keith Dominique (Peggy), Raoul Dominique (Angie), Zachary Dominique (Susan), Felix Dominique (Danette); and Rene' Dominique (Melissa); daughter, Regina D. Hadaway; 15 grandchildren, Sean Bourg, Michelle (Chris) Sigur, Chad (Courtney) and Alan Hadaway, Peter Paul (Rochelle), Shelly, Chris (Melissa), Joseph (Ellen), Ross (Caitlin), Alexandra, Nicholas, Rene', Natalie, Zachary, and Caymann Dominique; 9 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Layla, Jacob, Krislyn, Emmerson, Tyler, Cade, Adeline, and Kadence; and sister, Emma D. Foret.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Zeringue Dominique; parents, Felix and Madeline Orgeron Dominique; grandson, Joshua Bourg, great-granddaughter, Kenley Dominique; and 4 siblings, Gary, Elvira, Dorothy, and Delta.
He was a master gardener and a loving father and grandfather.
