Penelton “Do Do” J. Duet, Jr., 77 a native Cut Off and resident of Galliano passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
A visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, May 15, 2021 8:00 am until 10:30 am. Procession will follow to his 11:00 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow with his burial following in Hebert Cemetery.
Mr. Penelton is survived by his wife of years 55 years, Betty Griffin Duet; sons, Kelly, Armand (Brandi), and Jonathon (Danette); grandchildren, Ross (Toni), Gage (Lauren), Sage (Michaela), Austin (Elizabeth), Bailey, and Parker; great grandchildren, Willow, Vada, and Noa; brother, D.L. and Chris Duet, and sisters; Janice Callais, Linda Cheramie, and Kathy Duet; and mother-in-law, Irene Griffin.
Mr. Duet was preceded in death by his son, Lonny Duet; parents, Penelton Sr. and Mildred Duet; and father-in-law, Gilbert Griffin.
