Pearly Vedros Plaisance, 90, a native of Lockport and a resident of New Orleans died at 1:15 p.m. Nov. 1, 2012.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until funeral time, 11 a.m., Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Miller Plaisance and wife Kathleen; daughter, Marian Plaisance Peery and husband James; sister, Lena Pertuit; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Antoine Plaisance; parents, Scuddy and Estella Dominique Vedros; son, Milton Plaisance; brothers, Percy Vedros, nd Bruce Vedros.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
