Pearl Marie Caillet Baudoin, born on November 10, 1922, a native of Hahnville, and resident of Lockport, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2021, at the age of 98.
Pearl is survived by her six children: Stephen J. (Linda) Baudoin, Jill B. (Mike) Farrow, Jan G. (Pam) Baudoin, April B. (Bill) Crichton, Elise B. (Karl “Bubby”) Broussard, and Robin B. (Marty) Comeaux; her eight grandchildren: Opal Baudoin-Foshee, Dominic P. (Gina) Baudoin, Megan F. (Jimmy) Hill, Michelle F. (Kaustubh) Varma, Jacques M. (Jessica) Baudoin, Adele E. Broussard, Evan J. Comeaux, and Nicholas L. Comeaux; and six great-grandchildren: Lana Foshee, Olivia and Mason Baudoin, Bronson and Beckham Baudoin, and Landen Hill. Pearl is also survived by her youngest sister, Velma C. Matis.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd G. Baudoin; her parents, Syl E. and Elise T. Caillet; her brothers, Syl F. and Marcelin “Jack” Caillet; and sisters, Cecile C. Donnaud, Evelyn C. LeBlanc, Virginia M. Caillet, and Elise C. Young.
Pearl was a faithful Catholic who was devoted to her family. She will be greatly missed.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her loving caregivers as well as to the nurses and staff with Haydel Memorial Hospice.
Saturday, February 6, 2021 visitation at Falgout’s Funeral Home in Lockport from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM followed by a funeral mass held at Holy Savior Catholic Church at 1:00 PM. Interment in Holy Savior Mausoleum. Covid regulations followed.
