Paul E. Parker, 68, a native of Biloxi, MS and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away with his wife by his side after a 45 day battle with pancreatic cancer, on Monday, August 28, 2017.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 and from 8:00 am until 10:30 am on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday at St. Hilary Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Anne Waguespack Parker; sister, Sue Chiasson (Glover) and their children, Curt (Nicole) Chiasson and grandchildren, Brenner Vincent, Evan and Hudson Chiasson, Randi and Brooke Plaisance; Yvette (Todd) Bourgeois and grandchildren, Cody and Samantha Bourgeois; sister Pat (Mel) Matherne and their daughter, Amber Rybiski; brother-in-law, Lamar (Angele) Waguespack Jr. and their children, Lamar Waguespack III, Charles Waguespack, Mary (Brian) Berry and grandchildren, Trenton and Melrose Berry; Joseph Waguespack.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Prentis and Mary Lee Pittman Parker; niece, Monique Plaisance, nephew, Ryan Rybiski and his loving dog, Sunny Valentine.

Paul was the last surviving member of the Central Lafourche Bass Masters where he served as Secretary Treasurer. He was also a National Guard Veteran.

The family would like to send special thanks to the doctors and staff of Terrebonne General Medical Center, especially Dr. Shyam Mani and The Crossing at Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge.

In lieu of flowers Masses or donations to Hail Mary Rescue, 1613 Highway 304, Thibodaux, LA. 70301 are preferred.
