Paul Frederick Besancon, 88, a native of Stryker, Ohio and resident of Houma, died at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Coteau Baptist Church. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Besancon; two brothers, William Peter and Richard Besancon; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sims Besancon; parents, Paul Napoleon and Lena Grisier Besancon; three brothers, Harry Charles, Robert, and infant Besancon; and sister, Ella Clementine Besancon.
He was a member of Coteau Baptist Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
