Patterson “Pooch” Gaspard, 69, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 5, 2021.
Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, September 9th from 10 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Connie G. Gaspard; children, Nicolette Gaspard, Natalie Bouziga (Lee), Jacob Gaspard (Mindy); grandchildren, Nadiya, Sophia, JeanEric Vizier, Devin Bouziga, Cy Gaspard, Hunter, Garrett, Kyleigh and Colten and brother, Chris Gaspard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Patterson J. Gaspard Sr. and Rose N. Gaspard; sister, Gwen G. Rachel and grandson, Michael Gaspard.
Pooch was an amazing, kind, loving, strong and gentle man. He always knew how to make people laugh with his quick wit. He was a man of faith. He will be missed by all who knew him.
