Patrick C. Picou, born February 25, 1948, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Galliano, LA, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galliano, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Golden Meadow, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Dantin. Picou for over 30 years; daughters, Kellie Picou and Stacy Arceneaux; step daughters, Connie Bordelon and Bonnie Landry; sister, Vickie DiGregorio; brother, Perry Picou and several grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Reynold Picou, Sr. and Rita Domangue Picou; step son, Ernest (Ernie) Landry, Jr.; brothers, Ray Picou, Jr., Tommy Picou, Sr., Larry Picou and Barry Picou.
Pat was a loving husband and friend to many. He loved his family the most. He loved camping, fishing, hunting and traveling. He was in the Army National Guard Vietnam era. Pvt. 1st Class. Commander of the Galliano American Legion Post 315 for 25 years, Veteran Memorial Board, Our Lady of LaSalette Council no. 9000. Mason and Green Head Club; Knights of Columbus (Brother) and Knights of Columbus Sir Knight 4th Degree, Sons of the American Legion, Jerusalem Shriner, Lafourche Shriner Club. He was a very loving person.
