Oliver J. "O.J." Ledet, 85, a native of Lafourche Crossing and a resident of Lockport, died at 11:50 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Plaisance Ledet; one son, Gregory Ledet and wife, Yoshimi; one daughter, Madonna Broussard and husband, Aubrey; one sister, Erline Toups; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver F. Ledet and Leah G. Ledet; three brothers, Didier, Daniel and Cyril Ledet; and four sisters, Olive Babin, Lillian Grabert, Mabel Thibodaux and Marguerite Thibodaux.
He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
