Oliver G. Dufrene, Sr., 82, a native and resident of Paradis passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023
Visitation will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 21st from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bettye P. Dufrene; son, Oliver G. (Angela) Dufrene, Jr.; granddaughter, Amanda (John) Martin; great-grandchildren, Mycal Martin, Cole Martin, Reid Martin, and Ella Jo Martin; sister, Rose Parker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Marie Dufrene; sisters, Audrey Gaubert, and Olivia Zeringue.
Oliver was a member of Paradis Volunteer Fire Department.
