Ola Brunet Freeman, age 88, a native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Tuesday, April 03, 2018.
Visitation will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Church on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 10:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the church at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Ola is survived by her sons, Carl E. Freeman, Jr. (Pat), Jody P. Freeman (Pepi); daughters, Sharon Saucier (Ken), Holly Bourgeois (Wayne); brother, Andrew "T-Tan" Brunet; 6 grandchildren, Willie Freeman, Jennifer S. Matherne, John Freeman, Jesse Freeman, Ashley Beth Bourgeois, David Bourgeois and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Eddie" Freeman, Sr., parents, Elphege and Francine Brunet, Sr.; brother, Elphege Brunet, Jr.; sisters, Irma LaGrange, Dudeline Louviere and grandson, Ben Freeman.
Ola was an active parishioner and Eucharistic minister at Holy Savior Catholic Church. She was also the proud owner of Ola's Fabric Shop in Lockport.
