Odaleen "Bootchie" Mccuen

Odaleen “Bootchie” McCuen, 92, a native of Oakdale, LA and a resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Memorial United Methodist Church, Mathews, LA. Religious services will be at 11:00 am Monday with burial to follow in Barrios Cemetery, Valentine, LA.
She is survived by her children, Judy Zeringue (Larry), Sharon Poursine (Mike), Keith McCuen (Jean) and Cheryl Lynn Carter; grandchildren, Angela, Donny, Jeremy, Kristen, Nicholas and Natalie; great grandchildren, Heather, Devin and Donny, Jr.; numerous great-great grandchildren and sisters, Shirley Wilcox and JoAnn Susca-Iapoce.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack McCuen; one infant son; son-in-law, David Carter; grandson, Jack Joseph McCuen; parents, Kelly Doyle and Olla H. Doyle; step mom, Bernice Doyle; brothers, Gray Doyle, Arthur Doyle, Tyrone Doyle and sister, Nola Gay.
“Bootchie” was an active member of Memorial United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and singing in the choir.
