Norris F. Sampey, Jr., 76, a native of Raceland and a resident of Gheens, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Plaisance (Joey), Bonnie Dominique (Lonnie), Lulu and Callie Sampey; grandchildren, Megan and Joey Plaisance, Jr., Lauren and Brett Dominique, Reba, Rebecca and Hilary Yates, Erin Moise and Myka Cheramie; great grandchildren, Brayden Plaisance, Derrin and Deveri Smith, Camryn, Caisley and Carlie Westerman, Cylus Dominique, Shayleigh and Sookie Poindexter and Jorden Mason and sisters, Yvonne Mims and Delta Monier (Philip).
He was preceded by his beautiful wife, Shillie Toups Sampey; parents, Norris Sr. and Maude Blanchard Sampey; grandson, Tyler Dufrene and brothers, Howard and Michael Sampey, Sr.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
