Norris Rousse

Norris "T-Nu" C. Rousse Sr., 74, a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.
He is survived by his companion, Debbie Dufrene; children, Rickey Rousse and wife, Jeannie, Norris Rousse Jr. and companion, Jonnie Lynn Allemand, Darla Rousse, Tammy Rousse, Kayla Schouest, Shantel Shicksnider and husband, Travis, Roy Rousse and companion, Ashlyn Thibodeaux, and Aaron Dufrene and wife, Marcie; stepchildren, William "Billy" Cheramie Jr., Deborah Jarreau and husband, Henry "Bozo" Jarreau, Brian Keith Cheramie and wife, Odile, and Jody Paul Cheramie and wife, Crystal; grandchildren, Adrienne and Ian Besson, Cody Billiot, Zachary Rousse, Devin and Brittney Cadiere, Alee Mae Shicksnider, and Maddie and Macie Dufrene; great-grandson, Alan Cheramie; 11 step- grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Doris Rousse Toups and Rema Amos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton J. Rousse and Bernadette Guidry Rousse; brothers, Roy Cheramie, Horace Autin and Jay Rousse; and sister, Judy Gisclair.
