Norris Ledet Jr.

Norris A. Ledet, Jr., 72, a native of Pointe-Aux-Chenes and a resident of Gray, was called home to our Lord on January 17, 2019.
Visitation will be held from 6 PM until 9 PM on Tuesday, January 22 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma, and from 8 AM until service time on Wednesday, January 23 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Pointe-Aux-Chenes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at the church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda T. Ledet; daughters, Amy Schwartz, Stacey Danos (Eric), and Christy Kern (David); siblings, Earline Smith, Ervin, Nolan, Raymond, and Faron Ledet; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Ledet; and parents, Norris Ledet, Sr. and Agnes Ledet.
He was an employee of Texaco for 30 years. He had a love for gardening, fishing, camping, helping others, and spending time with his family – especially his grandchildren. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
