Norris A. Comeaux Sr.

Norris A. Comeaux, Sr., 81, a native of Larose, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, July 7, 2023 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Gloria P. Comeaux; children, Angela C. Blanchard (Kim), Jacqueline R. Comeaux (Ben Barker), Oneil O. Comeaux (Patty), Melanie A. Comeaux (Shelly Savoie) and Norris A. Comeaux, Jr. (Crystal); siblings, Ronald Comeaux, Perry Comeaux and Keith Comeaux; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oneil O. Comeaux and Austrilia T. Comeaux and siblings, Anna Dean Encalade, Curtis Comeaux, Sr., Elizabeth Comeaux, Riley Comeaux and Kenneth Comeaux.

Norris was the 2010 Grand Marshal of the Raceland Grand Marshal Club and was a member of the Raceland Lion’s Club. He was a tugboat captain for 25 years and the founder and owner of Comeaux’s Plumbing and Repair. He was loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed.
