Norman Joseph Rodrigue

Norman Joseph Rodrigue, age 74, a native of Pointe Aux Chenes and resident of Montegut, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Norman was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. He served in the Vietnam War, branch, U.S. Army. He was a member of the United Veterans League, Disabled Veterans, V.F.W. Bourg, LeBlanc #4752, American Legion #380 and fourth degree Knights of Columbus #5013. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and puppies.
Norman is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Janice Lapeyrouse Rodrigue, children, Renetta Lapeyrouse and husband Lester, Mitzi Nelton and husband Joseph Jr. "Brud", grandchildren, Austin and Jennifer Lapeyrouse, Jozie Dupre and husband Matthew, Alexis Tabor and husband Mark, sisters, Isabelle Robichaux and husband Rudy, Sally Naquin and husband Raymond, mother-in-law, Della Lapeyrouse, sister-in-law, Angela Dugas and husband Delbert and numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Doris Naquin Rodrigue, brothers, Allen and Gary Rodrigue, sisters, Helen Dupre and Earline Dugas and father in law, Walter Lapeyrouse.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Falgout Funeral Home, 211 Westside Blvd. in Houma and again on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
