Norman Joseph "Tim" Dupre, 81, a native of Montegut and resident of Raceland, died at 5:56 p.m. Sunday, May 11, 2014.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Hilary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Resurrection Mausoleum.
He is survived by his companion, Evelyn "Noonie" Sanchez; sons, Tim and wife, Karen, and Tod and wife, Suzanne Dupre; daughter, Paulette Dupre; sisters, Beverly Orgeron, Anna Lee Adams and Lois Tregre; and grandchildren, Crystal Foret, Scott and Jessica Dupre, and Alexis Rivet.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lena Dupre Dupre; and brother, Edward Dupre.
Norman was a U.S. Army veteran and belonged to the American Legion and Woodmen of the World. He also enjoyed working on golf carts and going camping.
