Norman Claude Borne, Sr., 92, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ford Borne; son, Norman Borne, Jr.; daughter, Cheryl Borne Bishop (Harold); grandson, Jeffrey Bishop; great grandchildren, Bailey Bishop, Cohen Bishop; brothers, Leonard and Herman Borne and sister, Aline Borne St. Pierre.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Annette Chedotal Borne and brother, Russell Borne.
Norman was the proud owner of Norman's Exxon for 31 years. He loved his golden retrievers, Buddy I, II, III and IV.
Falgout Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
