Norma Mae Harrelson Hawkes

Norma Mae Harrelson Hawkes, 87, a native of Ferriday, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at First Baptist Church, Larose, LA. Religious services will be at 11:00 am Thursday. Graveside services will be at 11:30 am on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, LA.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Phillip Hawkes; daughter, Wanda Jean Hawkes; sister, Edna Festervand; grandchildren, Michael Ryan, Kodie Hawkes, Duane Ryan, Kimber Hawkes, Jennifer Ryan, Angela Fine, Lance Ryan and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Wayne Hawkes; parents, Clarence and Edna Lois Harrelson and brother, Cecil Jerome Harrelson.

Norma was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Larose.
