Norma Delatte Nicol David, 91, a native and resident of Larose, passed away Monday, Sept. 2, 2013.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.
She is survived by her son, Harold Nicol Jr.; daughters, Barbara Orgeron, Rebecca Leonard and husband, Joe, Theresa Adams and husband, Jack, and Joette Nicol; grandchildren, Donnie Orgeron, Kyle Orgeron, Kirk Leonard, Josh Leonard, Melissa Adams Garrison, Elizabeth Adams Turpin, and Matthew Adams; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold J. Nicol Sr. and Joseph A. David; parents, Ellis Delatte Sr., and Eva Savoie Delatte; brothers, Donald Delatte and E.J. Delatte; twin sister, Thelma Guidry; and son-in-law, Donald Orgeron Sr.
Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
