Nora Dardar Verdin

Nora Eve Dardar Verdin, 73, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose passed away on June 18, 2017. Visitation will take place at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on June 21, 2017 from 9 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial at Cheramie Cemetery.

Mrs. Nora is survived by her children; Darlene Payne (Stanley), Joseph Soley, Cheryl Webber, Dona Ward Brown (Tim), and Dwayne Soley (Betty), stepchildren; Ann Verdin, Karen Verdin, Michel Verdin Jr. (Amy), and Debbie Verdin, 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and siblings Jimmy Dardar (Emma Lois) and Elaine Soley.

Mrs. Dardar was preceded in death by her husband Michel Verdin Sr., son; Clayvington Soley Jr., parents; Augustin and Alva F. Dardar, and sisters Mary Ann Dardar Matherne, Joyce Dardar Gaspard, and Elsie Dardar Lee, and brother-in-law Harris Soley.

She liked to play cards and po-keno, go to casinos, spending time with her family and friends, and reading the Bible.
