Nora Tregle Cortez, 61, a native and resident of Des Allemands, died at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Luling.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney Cortez; mother, Anita Tregle; brothers, Adlar Jr., Harry, Dino and Vincent Tregle; sisters, Joyce Matherne and Adaline Comardelle; and grandchildren, Marissa and Maliry Budzinski.
She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Smith; daughter, Dawn Budzinski; and father, Adlar Tregle Sr.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
