Nolte J. Griffin, 85, a native of Leeville and a resident of Galliano, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11: 00 am Tuesday with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery, Galliano.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl P. Griffin; sons, Don P. Griffin (Cindy) and Ben J. Griffin (Patty); daughters, Lyn Pierce (Dean) and Lea Anne Dantin (Archie); brothers, Charlie Griffin and Steve Griffin; sister, Thelma Schouest; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eumes and Liza Cheramie Griffin and brother, E.J. Griffin.
Nolte enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing. He loved be to at his hunting camp.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
