Nolia B. Duet, 84, a native of Grand Isle and resident of Galliano, died Monday, March 19, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Gary Duet and wife, Dianne, Brent Duet and wife, Jennifer, Gregory Duet, and Kenneth Duet and wife, Darla; brother, Jackie Boudreaux; sister, Patsy Bollinger; and nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oris "Baloute" Duet; and parents, Claiborne "Casno" Boudreaux and Niece LeBouef Boudreaux.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Grand Isle Fire Dept and Grand Isle Senior Citizens Center in Mrs. Nolia's name.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
