Nolia Anselmi

Nolia "Mom Mom" J. Anselmi, 88, a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed away Jan. 30, 2016. Visitation will take place on Tues. Feb. 2nd, 2016 from 9 am till service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Nolia is survived by her children Joyce Charpentier husband E.J., Miranda Griffin husband Robert, and Randal Anselmi wife Karen, grandchildren Laura Terrebonne husband Dwayne, Marc Charpentier wife Buffy, Paul Charpentier wife Nikki, Natalie Curole husband Blaine, Kelyn Griffin, Nathan Wood, and Celeste Anselmi companion Buck Duet Jr., 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and sisters Clorinda Punch and Rosa Jean Vizier.

Mrs. Anselmi was preceded in death by her husband Irvin "Uncle Joe" Anselmi, parents Silas and Cesla C. Vizier, brother Glannis Vizier, and sisters Lena Crosby, Rozina Duet, Dudline Griffin, and Rosie Vizier.

Mrs. Nolia enjoyed teaching, crocheting, sewing and was very crafty and lived for her family. She always prayed the Rosary and retired from Lady of the Sea Hospital after 14 years.
