Nolan Daniel Ougel Sr., 89, a native and resident of Larose, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Nolan Ougel Jr.; children, Sadie and Joseph Ougel; grandchildren, Jesavrie Bell, Isavian Bell, and Adian Ougel; son, David Ougel; son, Christopher Ougel and wife, Diane, their chidren Amy Ougel, Emily Ougel-Borne, Joachim Ougel, Jonathan Ougel, Megan Ougel, Suzie Ougel and their grandchildren, Makala Ougel, Jolie Ougel, Joacim Ougel Jr., Jonah Eymard, Kash Eymard, Stone Borne, and Jax Borne; son, Robert Ougel and wife, Kimberly, their children Britany Ougel, Brandon Ougel, Bethany Ougel, Sabrie Bruce, and Siecelia Terrebonne, and their grandchildren, Krista LaBlanc, Bella Bruce, Brok Bruce, and Karoline Terrebonne.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Francis Chauvin Ougel; and his parents.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
