Nolan S. Adams Sr., 82, a native and resident of Lockport, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, with burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
He is survived by his wife, Elvire Billiot Adams; two sons, Chris Adams and wife, Sheila, and Jerry Adams; three daughters, Enola Breaux and husband, Henry Sr., Judy Meaux and husband, Sonny, and Shirley Boudreaux and husband, Emile; one sister, Marion Adams; and 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores Badeaux Adams; his parents, Rene' and Lydia C. Adams; three sons, Daniel, Philip, and Nolan Adams Jr.; two daughters, Emily and Patricia Adams; two brothers, Raymond and Roland Adams; and one sister, Ruth Babin.
He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
