Nola Adams Foret, 91, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Raceland, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021.
Visitation will be from 8:30 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son; David Foret (Kim); daughters, Kathy Guidry (Randy) and Susan Guidry (Larry); grandchildren, Heath (Amy), Sarah (Kenny), Amanda (Dustin), Colin (Traci), Kailey (Chris); step grandchildren, Kathy, Stevie, Jerry, Johnny and Susie; great grandchildren, Dylan, Brendyn, Hayden, Brady, Connor, Vivian, Olivia and Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Johnny P. Foret; daughter, Becky Ricks (Steve); parents, Emeluis and Agnes St. Pierre Adams; brothers, Gustave, Gillis, Alcide, Noles, Sidney, Nolan and Douglas Adams; sisters, Sarah Adams and Mary Adams.
Nola was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She was a great cook. She was a loving wife, mother and granny and will be greatly missed.
