Neva Savoie Griffin

Neva Savoie Griffin, 88, a native of Cut Off, LA and a resident of Thibodaux, LA, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her son John (Edwanna) Kieff; stepson, Harold “Butch” (Kristie) Griffin, Jr.; grandchildren, Regan (Melanie) Kieff, Jonathan (Coleen) Kieff, twins, Connor and Ella Griffin; ten great grandchildren, Hailey, Nikki, Kylie, Avery, Abbi, Natalie, Brantley, Karisma, Lincoln, Kayne and fur- baby Dory Ma Ree.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Edville Kieff, Jr.; 2nd husband, Harold, Griffin, Sr.; parents, Clarence and Loridia Savoie; son, Rod Kieff and grandsons, Darby Cheramie and Clarence Kieff-Terrebonne.

Maw Neva loved her family and was always there when she was needed. She loved watching TV with her fur-baby, Dory. She also loved her cousins like sisters, Barbara Hebert, Beverly Dufrene and Reba Adams and her cousins like brothers, Raymond and Russell Danos. Her besties were, Earline Curole, Melvinia Bourgeois, Ester Duet, Mary and Roy Boudreaux, Nancy and Everett Landry.
