Nettie was born Jan. 15, 1939 in Mamou where she grew up then, moved to Bayou Blue, where she remained a resident until her death. She was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church.
Her interests included spending time with her grandchildren, sewing and her dog, Princess. Nettie always burnt the rolls on Thanksgiving, because she was so involved in being with her family. She cherished every memory, especially when she had all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren together for the holidays.
The Porche-Soileau family would like to thank Haydel Memorial Hospice, Dr. Brian Matherne and Dr. Moussa for helping them in a time-of-need.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
