Nerline Callais Landry

Nerline Callais Landry a native and resident of Golden Meadow, Louisiana died March 8, 2017 at 3:30pm at the age of 85. She is survived by her sons, Al Landry, Keith Landry, & Kim Landry (Susan); 18 Grandchildren; 40 Great-Grandchildren; 10 Great Great-Grandchildren; and 2 brothers. Nerline was preceded in death by her husband Wilson Landry; son, Steven Landry; Grandchild, Chad Landry; Great-Grandchild, Lynette Landry; Parents, Dedier & Clarcia Callais; and her brother Morris Callais. She was very active in the Shrimping community. When she retired from the Shrimp Factories, she became a "Granny" at Golden Meadow Lower Elementary. She loved working with the little children. She constantly talked about how she loved being their Granny. They were her World. She was an avid crocheter and made different things from crosses to slippers.
Her service was held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. She was laid to rest in Cheramie Cemetery.
