Nelson Guillot, Jr.

Nelson Joseph Guillot Jr., 91, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Marrero, died at 3:05 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by one son, Robert "Bob" Guillot and wife, Melanie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Monier Guillot; his parents, Nelson Guillot Sr. and Emilie Ledet Guillot; four brothers, Vernon, Ovey, Lawrence "To To" and Clifton Guillot; and one sister, Nolia Olano.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
