Ned J. Matherne Sr., 82, a native of Bayou Gauche and a resident of Gray, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018.
Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 9 PM on Tuesday, January 9 at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland with a funeral service held at 7 PM.
He is survived by his companion, Christine Adams; 4 children, Robin M. Taylor and husband, Rodney, Ned Matherne Jr. and wife, Pauline, Randall Matherne and wife, Loretta, and Holly M. Sakuyama; 3 step-children, Wayne Tabor, Crystal Daigle, and Ashley Smith; 3 siblings, Luther Matherne, Jeanette Henry, and Marjorie Sampite; 9 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula B. Matherne; parents, Kliner and Hattie Matherne; and brother, Percy Matherne.
