Nancy Ledet Plaisance

Nancy Ledet Plaisance, 77, a native of Larose and a resident of Lockport, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 1:30 pm on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Falgout Funeral Home, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm Wednesday at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA.
She is survived by her children, Aaron Plaisance (Angela), Lilli Boudreaux (Thomas), Glenn Plaisance (Julie) and Lannie Plaisance (Rhonda); brother, Jimmy Ledet; grandchildren, Lacey Triche (Chase), Lance Dufrene (Katie), Sarah Dufrene, Rebecca Gouner (Steven), Rachel LeBlanc (Nick), Catherine Plaisance, Shelly Schouest (Jacob), Erica Plaisance (Gabby), Chelsea Chauvin, Lauren Plaisance (Mat), Taylor Plaisance and Morgan Plaisance; great grandchildren, Logan, Keagan, Lathan, Kingston, Connor, Elli, Liam and Olivia.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Plaisance; parents, Forest and Etonia Ledet; brother, Norris Ledet and sister, Gertie Pierce.
Nancy was a member of the Lockport American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 83; board member of Lafourche Senior Citizens and was a retired teacher at Raceland Jr. High.
