Nancy Matherne Ogle, 73, a native of Gheens, and a resident of Raceland, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Raceland.
She is survived by her son, Jerome Triche Jr. and wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Cindi Cook and Penny Hitt and husband, James; grandsons, J.T. and Jeremy Triche, and James and Dane Hitt; granddaughters, Nellie, Romanda and Sophie Cook; siblings, Autry Matherne and wife, Lorena, Louella Rudolph, Patsy Wegner and husband, John, Harold Matherne and wife, Lisa, Donald Matherne and wife, Ramona, Melvin Matherne and wife, Sandra, Allen Matherne and wife, Joyce, Sandra Matherne and husband, Donald, Patrick Matherne and wife, Carolyn, and Robert Matherne and wife, Julie; her best friend, Rita Pertuit; and her Tennessee family, Manson and Pat Ogle, Eldridge and Arlene Ogle, Valeria Ogle, Jacky Ogle, Bonnie Reagan and Rosie Dahlgren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ogle; her parents, Cleveland and Eula Brown Matherne; siblings, Harrington Matherne, Bertha Rudolph and Wesley Matherne; and one grandson, Merlin James Gaudet Jr.
