Muriel Gaudet Robichaux, 87 a native and resident of Raceland died at 2:12 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012.
A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, and from 8 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews. A burial will follow in the St. Mary's cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Clyde Robichaux, John Robichaux and wife Sandra; daughters, Ann R. Adams and husband Myron, Melanie R. Ponson and husband Don; 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe J. Robichaux; parents, James Gaudet and Laura Burbach Gaudet; son, William "Bill" Robichaux; daughter-in-law, Teresa Robichaux; brother, Floyd Gaudet; sister, Laura Hohensee.
She was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church.
She was a member of the V.F.W Ladies Auxiliary 3665, St. Hilary Council of Catholic Women, Ladies Altar Society of St. Mary.
In lieu of flowers donations will be given to her two charities, Rev. Peter Niles Burse and Bayou Bell Ringers.
She lived a life of service to her family, church and community.
