Ms. Jimmie Stephens Blackwell

Mrs. Jimmie Louise Stephens Blackwell, age 98, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. She was a native of Ackerman, Mississippi and resident of Houma, Louisiana.

 Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Saturday, January 18, 2025, beginning at 10:30 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. At 2pm, burial will be held in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, Louisiana.

 Mrs. Jimmie is survived by her daughters, Linda Labit and husband, Michael, Sylvia Burford and husband, Steve, and Phyllis Dupre’ and husband, Dan; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren..

 Mrs. Jimmie was preceded in death by her husband, Molene Blackwell; parents, Lonnie Thomas and Rosa Myrtice Williams Stephens; brother, J.M. Stephens; sister, and Juanita Black.
