Mona Ann Dufrene

Mona Ann Dufrene, 73, native and resident of Larose, passed away on November 21, 2023.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, on Wednesday, November 29th from 10 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 noon with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Mona is survived by her children, Tammy M. Pitre (Jay), Tricia M. Arceneaux (Sy), Traci M. Hebert (Dennis), Tara M. Guidry (Jacob) and John P. Melancon Jr.; 5 grandchildren, Dennis Hebert Jr. (Cammie), Allen Arceneaux (Emily), Teara Arceneaux (Joshua), Jalin Pitre, Lainie Guidry; mother, Lillie T. Dufrene; sister, Donna Gaudet and brothers, Kenneth and Hank Dufrene.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry P. Dufrene and uncle, Lester “Butchie” Theriot.
